Guild Hall Statue Problem

While I was building the guild hall yesterday and pulling things out of escrow, I noticed that I had all 3 statues and the dragon head in my escrow. I thought that was cool b/c I would not have to wait on others to put their items in the hall.

After the hall was finished, I went ahead and started to put the statues in the hall. The first statue I put up was Idara. The guild message appeared and we all gained the benefit of that. I proceeded to add the other two statues and I did not see a message, but I assumed it was working. Later, I checked my skill book (general) and all I saw there was the Idara bonus. I think, but not sure, that Idara used as the statue for Sarcoth, when initially I had the Adventuring one. Probably because I placed that one first.

I will go ahead and submit a petition for it this weekend, but I just wanted to let the guild know that there is a problem. Lynora had the crafting one I think and someone else had Idara.

Have we heard about something similiar with other guilds?

This is probably because those collector's item statues were 1 to an account. Probably there is some blindspot in the code due to an "invariant" that no character can possess more than one statue. You believed Idara was someone else's yet we get credit after you placed it. This leads me to believe the game gave you ownership of all 3 but stopped "crediting" after you single allotment of ownership was used (ownership is flagged/checked on placement probably.)

Of course, if you ALSO could not place and get credit for the head, then my theory is not likely correct.

That's the same theory I have Sig, regarding the statues. Nothing happened when I added the dragon head and I believe that is correct. Since, I never had the dragon head, I would never be in the system to get credit for it.

I'm planning to petition because I need credit for the adventuring statue, not the diplo one. Riley already has the diplo one b/c he knew that was the one we were missing. That would suck if we no longer have someone with an adventuring one.

the diplo one is mine i redid my house and escrow today i wasnt returned the statue next time on if i remember i try and pick it up and replace it in the hall.

Can try the 'return to owner' option, then get em replaced by owner of each type still plays. I think we established that we have all the statues tripple covered a week or so ago.

Also, do we have a mounted kota head? Some confusion over if an unmounted head gives a buff or even should give a buff. And its a 15p mounting plaque so its not a trivial decision.

I was able to send the Idara's Visage and the Eila's Visage back to their original owners and left the Jeric's Visage in your main inventory. The guild hall trophies will not function if they are all placed by the same player so you will need to have 2 other players place their trophies into the guild hall. I left your Jeric's Visage in your main inventory where you will be able to place it and provide your guild with the buff. Also, the Head of Kotasoth can be placed by the same player who placed one of the claimed guild trophies. I hope this helps! Okay, I got the adventuring trophy to work last night, but Lynora and Riley were missing their statues. The GM responded to my petition on this so we should be set. I will get on tonight and take care of this.

In response to the Kota head. I placed the first Kota head in the GH and yes you get guild credit buff without it being mounted.
