Yeah, I've been playing too much Fallout 4 lately. I don't care.
First off, I'm very sorry for the forums being down.
It took a week for me to get this up and running, but there was a lot to do. For those that missed it, the vBulletin software had a "zero day vulnerability" that allowed a hacker to get into my file system. I will explain more about this later, but for now, I need to work on getting these forums updated.
For the record, I have not lost the old forum database. I have access to it, but it is safe behind a password protected area. A lot harder to hack that way. I will hopefully reopen access to it at some point, but I have a long list of things to do right now.
1) Get these forums operational; settings
2) Get these forums to look like our old forums
3) Clean up the hacked forums
For those wondering why we are back on vb4. Well, I found the vb5 software to be lacking. I was constantly getting weird errors in the code and database. The software was the problem and even though it had a lot of cool features, I won't reinstall buggy software. vb4 is reliable. That's much more important.
Please bare with me while I finish getting these forums up and running again.
